Rivers Johnson, our club pro, has been with Sweetwater for since 2000. He is a PGA Class A professional as well as a great guy. Contact him to arrange lessons or set up a "T - Time" to enjoy one of South Carolina's best golf courses.
Sweetwater Country Club is a superbly maintained 18-hole golf course, playing 6,248 yards from the (Blue) Championship tees, 5830 yards from the (White) Member's tees, 5345 yards from the (Gold) Senior tees, and 4670 from the (Red) ladies' tees. The course is well trapped with small greens and narrow fairways.
The course's front nine is similar to other low-country courses with an abundance of wetlands, while the back nine has sufficient rolling elevation to remind one of the up-country portions of our beautiful state. Sweetwater is considered a great place to learn the game, while still providing a challenge to the most talented players.
The Family can enjoy our swimming pool during the summer. Our banquet and party facilities are excellent and available for rent.
Our Pro Shop has nearly everything a golfer could want! And after a hard day on the course, our lounge provides the best in relaxation
