Description

Named to reflect the Revolutionary War history of the neighboring town of Ninety Six, South Carolina, The Patriot Golf Course at Grand Harbor is not only an 18- hole Davis Love III Signature Course, but also a reminder of the heritage of the area. At the epicenter of the course is a magnificent earthen fort surrounded by moats and underground cartpath tunnels of antique brick. The Fort's ruins, gun turrets and other unique design features memorialize the historical importance of the area. Utilizing the lush features of the nearby protected forest as well as the panoramic beauty of Lake Greenwood, this course is designed to take full advantage of the spectactular natural surroundings.

This championship layout features 4 sets of teeboxes for the enjoyment of golfers of all skill levels. From the longest tees it features 7,045 yards of golf for a par of 72. The course was designed by Davis Love, III and opened in 2004. The course contact is Tommy Thomas, Golf Professional. Online tee times may be available at The Patriot Golf Club At Grand Harbor or at nearby golf courses, usually offered at a discount from the normal rate.

As the first and largest of the communities, Grand Harbor was designed to provide optimal access to Lake Greenwood's recreational water activities, while fulfilling homeowners additional wish lists for a luxurious, yet affordable, way of life.

Grand Harbor includes more than 400 golf course, wooded and lakefront Homesites situated on 378 acres. Residents enjoy access to The Patriot Golf Clubhouse, Fitness Center, and tennis courts. The lakefront Aquatic Center features a 5,000 square-foot pool with lap lanes, a children's pool, and white sand beach area with an open-air cabana.
