Description
This Willard Byrd design, is carved into a lush Carolina Forest with hills and mountain-like brooks. Providing both a scenic masterpiece and a challenging golf course all at the same time. Yet, The Preserve at Verdae are very environmentally conscious and has re-imagined landscaping by creating naturalized areas reflecting tall spreads of native grasses and plants. This in turn reduces the amount of water, pesticides and fertilizers required. In fact the Superintendent and leader in environmental protection, received the 2011 Environmental Leaders in Golf Award Resort Division, presented by the Golf Course Superintendents association of America and Golf Digest.
