From the second you turn into the parking lot and walk into the 6000 square foot clubhouse with its beautiful hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and grandiose fireplaces you realize this is anything but your average muni. The Dr. Hurdzan designed 27-hole layout will not disappoint, no matter your golfing prowess. Wescott hosted the Hooters Pro Golf Tour in 2007 and Nationwide Tour Qualifier in 2006. Future PGA tour players Tommy Gainey, Matt Every, Martin Flores, Tommy Biershenk, Kevin Streelman, and Casey Wittenberg have teed it up at North Charleston's Municipal golf course.

A PGA member since 1982, Perry Green earned the PGA Specialty Certification in Instruction. Perry's students range from beginners to professionals from ages 4 to 85. Several of Perry's former students have gone on to become PGA members themselves. Perry utilizes the latest digital computer video analysis equipment from JC Video Systems to assist during instruction. As a player, Perry won the 2005 Illinois PGA Senior Masters Golf Tournament.
